Rumors of Flash's demise have been greatly exaggerated.
The truth is, Flash on mobile is alive and well. The world of Flash on devices is booming, with Flash content running on phones and tablets — even the iPhone and iPad! And there's a whole new generation of televisions and set-top boxes, like GoogleTV, that also run Flash.
Flash remains the closest thing to a write-once-publish-everywhere technology in existence.
We at Almer/Blank are here to help you understand the current landscape, with a pair of FREE events. Come to the Executive Session, and send your development team to the tech session later in the evening, so that you can learn and start publishing immediately!
From 4 to 6 PM
Join Almer/Blank CTO, R Blank, and Project Director, Tim Brady, as they explain exactly what platforms are supported by Flash, what options exist for publishing to each, and demonstrate Flash content running on a variety of devices for the attendees to experience Flash on these new platforms first-hand.
From 7 to 10 PM
Join Omar Gonzalez, LA Flash Manager and Senior Software Architect at Almer/Blank, as he walks developers and designers through the new features available from Adobe, in Flash Professional, Flash Builder and InDesign, that allow you to publish your content and apps to all these new devices.
Hosted by Almer/Blank, at:
The Almer/Blank warehouse

I have been developing in ANSCA Corona for iOS in the last year for porting my iPad App. I am interested in using my Flash / Flex kit for iOS and Android devices, especially tablets.
Frankly, as of late I have done several test using Flash Builder Burrito and have major concerns on how slow Flash runs on AIR for android. I tired several physics engines and several techniques and the frame drop is dramatic. I am actually going to test Corona Anasca physics and see if that will keep my frame count up.
Will this be avail online at all?
Robert: Using AIR 2.7 on the latest hardware (Galaxy or Playbook or the Motorola phones), and performance issues really start to disappear. Adobe's done a lot to improve performance. Always test both GPU and CPU render modes, to see which is best for your content on your target devices.
Michael: LA Flash may run the second half online, through Connect. Check http://laflash.org for info.
